A.J. Mleczko, Harvard
After taking a year off to win a gold medal in the Olympics in Nagano, A.J. Mleczko's return has been eagerly anticipated to people in Cambridge, including Crimson fans as well as the coaching staff. Mleczko didn't disappoint this weekend, gaining two points with an assist on the game winning goal and an empty net goal in a 3-1 win over host Minnesota in the country's first nationally televised women's college hockey game on Thursday. She added a goal and three assists on Saturday as Harvard thumped Minnesota State, Mankato 10-0.

Defensive Player Of the Week
Erica Killewald, Minnesota
While her team came away with a record of 0-1-1 over the weekend, sophomore goaltender Erica Killewald was named to the All-Tournament team of the All-American East-West Challenge in Minneapolis, Minn. In a 3-1 loss to Harvard, Killewald allowed two goals on 37 shots, Against the defending national champion New Hampshire on Saturday, Killewald stopped 30 of 31 shots as host Minnesota earned a 1-1 tie. For the weekend, Killewald had a 0.956 save percentage and a 1.44 goals against average against the top two teams in the latest U.S. College Hockey Online Women's Poll.
